Randall’s in Lakeway has also finished renovations. I have not been there, but did get five or so inserts in the mail. Does anybody in Steiner shop over there? Does anyone know what they are going to do in the renovated HEB?

]]> I had an earlier post about the fact that HEB would be undergoing renovations at the corner of 620 and 2222, also known as the Four Points HEB. Now some more details from a recent article in the Austin 360. So it looks like some cool things are coming to this store. I don’t know which way the store will grow maybe behind the store or to the pharmacy side, or they will just rearrange the current store, although it is hard to see where the current items will go.

H-E-B plans to add a Central Market Cafe on the Run, a Cooking Connection, a healthy living department and prime meat case to its Bee Cave store at 12400 Texas 71, beginning the end of April and completing around the end of October. Its store at Four Points also will undergo changes — to accommodate a sushi station, healthy living department, more cheeses and organics, beginning in February and completing in August. And H-E-B will complete the renovation of former Albertson’s stores purchased last year, opening the store at the Village at Westlake (the intersection of Bee Cave Road and Loop 360) in the spring.

I hope this happens soon. I have been to the HEB at 620 and Anderson Mill and it would be cool if the HEB at Four Points was more like that. We will see what happens.

“We listen to what (customers’) needs are,” says Keith Brown, co-owner of The Market at Steiner Ranch.
