I got an email from the owner Geoff about the Salon. It is pasted below. Also some people were wondering where it is located. It is next to Pak-Mail in the Shops at Steiner Ranch. It does not have a sign above the store as of this moment.

Bluebonnet salon is a beautiful salon with contemporary interiors and scenic views. As for the name, we wanted to blend the modern styles and the nature beauty all together. Linh is the co-owner and the hair stylist and she is specialized in women’s cut and colors. She is so nice to everyone, including elderly and kids, that all of her clients like her a lot.

One of our purposes of building this salon is to serve the bulk of the population in Steiner Ranch. To achieve that, we not only provide quality and upscale services to our clients but also maintain a reasonable price. For example, men’s cut is set at $22, women’s cut is $40 and kids cuts start at $16. (note that all cuts include shampoo, styling and scalp massage)

Besides haircut, color and hair treatment services, we also offer facial and waxing services. Massage services are also coming soon.

The salon hours are M-F 9:30–700, S 9:30 — 6:00.

just wanted to let everyone know that i have been going to this salon for a couple months and i am very pleased with the service and the quality of their work vanessa is the young lady that allways cuts and colors my hair and she does a extremely good job highly recomended

As a long time client of Bluebonnet I am sad to say that I believe Lihn does not exercise any form of business integrity. My daughter scheduled an appointment the day of her senior prom well in advance. Lihn personally called after 7 pm the day before her prom (too late to go somewhere else) and increased the cost of her service by more than double. My daughter how has had her hair done at the salon for years and personally walked into the salon explained what she needed, was quoted and scheduled at least a week prior. Even when confronted Lihn refused to honor the quoted price. We were not the only family she attempted to unethically profit from, at least three other girls were also called with last minute astronomical price changes. The day before their senior prom, shame shame. I and my family will never go there again, and I can not recommend her salon despite sending dozens to her over the years.

I have never see you in our salon. We did not have your record in our schelude book as our client. If you have been in our salon, you will know our haircut service’s price for 12 year old and older’s haircut, wash and basic blow dry is $40. The hair stylist Maggie quote the price $40 just for the haircut and basic blow dry for your daugher and I was not there. I believe there was misunderstand between your daughter and Maggie. The updo for prom is $65 by itself. The price have been set up since the salon has been opening in the last 3 and half year with this price. hair cut $40 and updo $65. I called you a night before was a friendly reminding that you have a hair cut service with us and found out that your daughter needed a updo too. you wanted us to cut, blow dry and updo your daughter’s hair for prom for $40 in two hours service. I tried to explain to you updo cost was additional and you did not want to pay the updo. Sorry, we could not offer the price you wanted and you got mad and upset even I tried to explain to you. Sorry, the hair stylists come to work for living. As a manager I have to protect their pay check. We are very appreciated for our customers in steiner ranch have been supported us for the past 3 and half years. Thanks for your business again.

I have received outstanding service every time I have visited Bluebonnet Salon for my 8 year old’s hair care needs. Linh and Maggie have always tried to provide me with the service I need . My daughter never wants to go anywhere else.

I went to lihn for a full highlight and she did an amazing job! She took her time and made sure she did it right. The shampoo after was the icing on the cake. It was the best shampoo job I have ever had. She is very sweet. I highly recommend her!
